SALES TAX

AffordableHomeGoods is a register business in the state of New Jersey and is responsible for collecting 7% state sales tax on all orders shipped within the state. Our shopping cart will automatically calculate this tax on all orders shipped within the state of New Jersey.

SHIPPING POLICY
(Stair Rods, Wall Hangers & Area Rugs)

Most orders ship within 2 to 3 business days after your order is received and stock is available for shipment. We ship via UPS and Fed Ex which deliver throughout the US in 5 to 7 business days. The shipping cost is as follows:

* - For Shipments to Alaska, a $50 S&H surcharge will be applied to any order, regardless of the total sale.

Once products are shipped from the manufacturer to our warehouse and or on route to the purchaser, any cancellation or refusal of a non damaged product will incur a 25% restocking fee plus return shipping charges. If you refuse a damaged product, please contact us via e-mail at customerservice@affordablehomegoods.com and we will arrange for a replacement.

SHIPPING POLICY
(Decorative Mirrors)

Most orders ship within 1 to 2 weeks after your order is received and stock is available for shipment. We ship via UPS/Fed Ex or common carrier which deliver throughout the contiguous US. Total delivery time, including transit, is 3 to 4 weeks.

We are unable to guarantee our quality and standards of service on items shipped outside the contiguous United States. The high cost of shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada plus the increased likelihood of damage during the lengthy trip make shipping impossible.

Once the order for the decorative mirror is begun, it cannot be cancelled as each mirror is custom made for the customer.

Returns for decorative mirrors will only be allowed on defective, mislabeled or wrongly shipped items.

SHIPPING POLICY
(Gun Cabinets)

Items weighing over 50 lbs will be shipped common carrier. Smaller items will be shipped via Federal Express or the United States Post Office. Common carrier cabinets will be delivered to your curbside (where available) and removed from the truck by the driver.

For items shipped by common carrier, it is necessary that someone is available to receive the cabinet at your "Ship To" address. The freight company will not leave your cabinet without a signed delivery receipt. If the freight company is unable to make delivery on their first or second try, they will charge you extra for re-delivery.

If someone is not available to receive your cabinet during normal business hours you can e-mail us a request to "Hold at Terminal". The freight company will then call you to pick up your order at their terminal. We can also ship to the address of a neighbor or relative who may be easier to catch at home.

The person signing to accept the shipment is responsible for visually inspecting the cabinet for any damage upon arrival. If the corrugated box is the damaged at all we highly recommend opening and looking over the cabinet. Refuse delivery of damaged freight by signing "refused for freight damage" and call us for a refund or replacement.

RETURN POLICY

All returns must be made within 14 days of receipt. No returns will be accepted after 14 days from receipt. All items must be in new condition and in their original packaging for resale. To return an order, email us at customerservice@affordablehomegoods.com to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number. All charges to ship merchandise back is the responsibility of the shipper. There will be a 25% re-stock fee on all returned orders that are non-defective. Under no circumstance are the shipping charges refundable.

Please ship back returns some way that it is possible to get a tracking number, this is for your benefit as well as ours, and email that number with in 7 days of receiving the RMA number to: customerservice@affordablehomegoods.com AffordableHomeGoods is not responsible for items that are lost in shipping.

Your credit card will be refunded for the correct amount after inspection has been made to the product to insure product has not been damaged in any way and is resalable. An email we been sent upon confirming the refund.

Special order items are not returnable. Items that are considered special order items are anything not listed on the website, custom cut rods or special finishes and all decorative mirrors. Returns for these special order items will only be allowed on defective, mislabeled or wrongly shipped items.

If the merchandise is damaged in shipping we will replace it at no charge if it is reported to the shipping agent and noted upon receipt.

COLOR DISCLAIMER

Computer monitors have inherent limitations, and electronically reproducing color on the Internet is imprecise. Therefore, we cannot assure you that what you see accurately portrays the color. We have gone to great lengths to portray colors as accurately as possible by making color corrections to our scans.
